ARB is Australia’s largest manufacturer and distributor of 4×4 accessories. The company employs over 1200 staff with an annual turnover of approximately $280M.
Expanding business operations led to a recent decision to implement JD Edwards ERP software, which required a reliable scheduling system to run a series of batch jobs to transfer data from ARB’s legacy system to JD Edwards, then trigger the required JDE jobs, automating the dependencies accordingly. The growing number of ARB stores and warehouses also meant an increase in the volume of JDE jobs and complexity of the schedule going forward.
Working with Kantion, ARB purchased and installed RevSoft Rev Scheduler for JD Edwards, which today manages an ever-increasing number and complexity of jobs and dependencies with this growing business.
Westpac Pacific Banking, a multi-national financial institution across the South Pacific region, required a high level of control on activities that may jeopardize the security of their information in order to minimize the potential of fraud, corruption and damage to the integrity of their sensitive information.
For this reason it is necessary for Westpac to monitor the activities of specific users, and to be able to produce activity reports in a timely, user-friendly and cost effective manner. Despite having a security compliance software package installed, it did not fully meet their requirements.
Working with Kantion, Westpac implemented Cilasoft’s QJRN/400 IBM i journal auditing solution. Once the solution was live, auditors and internal security officers were able to generate concise and accurate reports from journaled data without the need for IT personnel to spend hours gathering system information, managing user access, and formatting the data into reports.
